Arrived to a filthy hotel, bloody gauze in the hallway. Entered room and didn't even feel comfortable sitting in a chair. Toilet flooded and the receptionist handed us 2 towels and we were pretty much on our own. Stayed 15 minutes and requested a refund. This hotel made the Bates Motel Look like the Four Seasons.

Absolutely disgusting. Looked pretty decent online figured I would give it a try since I was only staying one night. Front desk was not friendly and waited over 10 mins to be taken care of when there was absolutely no one in there. Walked up the dirty hallway to my room. Walked in room beds looked ok nothing fancy noticed sitting on the bed that the walls were filthy! There was handprints on the wall. Immediately checked out bathroom. Floor was not swept at all and was filthy as well as tub. I asked for a refund immediately. Stay at the Hampton Inn in Rome worth the extra.

I put the sign on the door requesting maid service at around 10am when we left the room. We returned at 6pm and our room was just as we had left it. I called the front desk and politely said i didn’t receive maid service and would like towels and all he said in response was, “room number?” I told him the room number and stated that i would like towels and wash cloths but all he brought were bath towels and a hand towel. Then, after checking out i realized that i’d left 2 pillows in the room. I brought them because we use a lot of pillows and these were brand new and not cheap, so i immediately called the motel when i realized i’d left them on the bed. I live in Rome about 20 mins from the motel (which they could have seen if they checked the address on my reservation) so i told the person on the phone i’d be there shortly and to please have the pillows at the front desk for me. I arrive about 20-30 mins later and the girl at the front desk made me a room key to apparently go check for the pillows myself. I asked if the room had been cleaned yet and she said yes it had but i should check it still and she’d check the laundry room. After walking all the way to the room (which had to have been the furthest room from the lobby) and obviously not finding the pillows, i returned to the desk and she was still sitting there and had not checked the laundry room. Once i told her the pillows weren’t in the room then she gets up, without saying a word, and goes to the laundry room (i assumed). She was gone for 15 minutes and returns with my pillows, but no pillow cases were on them. I asked where they were and she said the maid had thrown them away. i was shocked. We’d been gone a maximum of 2 hours and anyone could have easily gotten my phone number off of my reservation to see if i was returning for them. She said the maid assumed i wasn’t coming back. It was clear that the hotel was planning on keeping the pillows as they were good quality and brand new. The whole stay was pretty frustrating and disappointing because of the lack of customer service. If they’re gonna act like a crappy motel then they should charge less.

Don't stay here. Sleep in your car instead. No wifi. Lobby stinks of rotten garbage. Room smelled like barf & alcohol. No power outlets near the bedside tables. Bathroom lights ridiculously dim. Hair on the pillows.

To be honest we landed here because everything in a 20 mile radius was booked. We were visiting family in Clinton, NY. This motel is out in the cornfields.....off the beaten path, next to the old airport that is now the NY State training facility. Our room did not look like the one in the picture. There was carpet in the room. There was a fridge and microwave on a cabinet in the corner of the room. There was a flat screen TV. There are no outlets to plug in or charge anything. Bathroom looked like something from the 1970s. Our room was not too far from the Lobby. The hallway had a strong odor of cigarette smoke. Guessing that the smoke smell is coming from the manager's rooms near the lobby and the smell is embedded in the carpets. There is never a person at the front desk until you press a call button. We did get a goods nights rest, water was nice and hot, towels and linens were clean and refreshed everyday.
